Its funny what tipped em off is money laundering not drug dealing. Dont mess with the IRS thats when government really starts to care. The people involved seem very organized anyway. If my son was moto GP champ all I would do is sign paychecks and let my VP handle the rest wouldn't you? Isnt that what owning a business is all about? maybe that's what the Execs at Enron should have done. as long as we make money who cares what happens, I say BS! If you own it you take responsibility for it. Money laundering has significant links to terrorism as well as drug dealing and organized crime. Given the current climate in the world/USA it's no wonder money laundering investigations are a bit more prominent in the media.

This is a perfect example that owning a business is about everything but sitting around signing paychecks and letting your VP run it. If the responsible parties choose to ignore the regulations or place people in positions that put their business in jeopardy they need to get themselves a good lawyer.
