I told Earl that taking in that DeLorean on a trade was a bad idea. But would he listen, no? I'm through giving advice to that stubborn old goat. Nicky won't listen, too.....always has on those stupid ipod shades and just smiles every time I try to talk sense to him. Those guys drive me nuts.

Its funny what tipped em off is money laundering not drug dealing. Dont mess with the IRS thats when government really starts to care. Have a bank in the caymans or start an over-sears sewer scam get with the times maaaaan. Earl in fact may not have known the extent of what was going on. The people involved seem very organized anyway. If my son was moto GP champ all I would do is sign paychecks and let my VP handle the rest wouldn't you? Isnt that what owning a business is all about? Taking in the money and not having to do shit... I mean as long as 2nd Chance Auto is turning enormous profit what the hell does he care whats going on??? He doesnt have time! You gotta think the name brings in the clientel involved in this incident lol

maybe that's what the Execs at Enron should have done. as long as we make money who cares what happens, I say BS! If you own it you take responsibility for it. Perhaps Michael Vick should have said his VP had control of his operation and knew nothing about the activities.......funny sh*t what people think......

wait wiat that IS what the execs at enron did I truly dont recommend money laundering.. There is a certain amount of sarcasm that everyone uses on here you should try to pick up on that. Once you hire someone to be VP there is a certain amount of trust you've extended to them. So dont start "honesty police" on me. Lets hear what you suggest he do since all you've done is pick apart what i've said and brought nothing of your own

This is why shit is ****ed up right now... people being the judge of shit they don't know about. I don't give a shit if Earl did know, its not my place judge the man. Maybe you retarded ass slackers should try to have an ounce of humility before you throw stones while living in a glass house?

If it is true....of course Earl is at fault. The Captain of the ship is responsible for everything. The ship runs aground while the Captain is asleep..the Captain gets hung out to dry. He should know who he has working for him. Just like in professional racing, it is "we", not "me".
Earl is part of the "we" in HIS business....

Money laundering has significant links to terrorism as well as drug dealing and organized crime. Given the current climate in the world/USA it's no wonder money laundering investigations are a bit more prominent in the media.
This is a perfect example that owning a business is about everything but sitting around signing paychecks and letting your VP run it. If the responsible parties choose to ignore the regulations or place people in positions that put their business in jeopardy they need to get themselves a good lawyer.
