New 2009 Hondas...
Well, the 2009 Honda dealer show is next week. There's usually some buzz about the new model line-up. So far, it's been pretty dead. I'll be making my annual pilgrimage to the show to see what's new. The last few years have had me leave a little underwhelmed. What say you? Any ideas or speculations?

2009? not 2008?
I'm confused I haven't even seen the 2008 models...

I'm hoping we'll see a brand new CBR1000RR.
I'd also like to see something cool. A 919 update perhaps or a V4 something.

- An "all new" ST4 and VFR with more emphasis on "sport" would be nice.
- Maybe a 2 liter cruiser!?!
- I am still waiting on a Honda Supermotard!
 - Honda 919 with upgraded brakes, suspension and 1000 RR engine (tuned for torque, of course!)
- How 'bout a retro bike with 2008 brakes and suspension?
- An HRC tuned V4 engine!!
- Slipper clutch!!!

There should be:
-1000 VFR (V4 or V5....)
- New CBR1000RR, "RC212V" like.
- New CB600F and CB1000F (i don't know if you have these two bikes in USA, they are kind of detuned Hornet 600 and Hornet 900 (CB 919 in us).
- No more CR 2 stroke cross range ( )

maybe honda will get its head out of its ass and offer a genuine streetfighter, like triumph, and suzuki now, in the us....hahahaha, good joke. the 919 is a pig, with shite brakes and suspension. the motor is how old? they should update the vfr and sell it in a sport and fighter package. it would sell like ****ing wildfire, people are tired of inline 4s, thats why triumph is blowin up, and all the twins.

Honda wish list, just a couple would be nice!
-A street-legal fuel-injected CRF450L.
-CBR1000RR drawing heavily from 600RR design architecture.
-Modern day VFR1000R.
-1200cc V-twin Superbike.
-1000RR naked bike.
-1300cc CBR Blackbird.
-Hydrid Goldwing.
-Fourtrax 650X sport-quad.

I don't expect anything new from Honda, hell Harley-Davidson is updating their bikes more frequently.

WHAT!
No V5 litrebike, or was it a V5 Blackbird... oh wait, it's going to be a V5 Interceptor.
Where's the V4 sportbike?
And what about the ultimate imaginary bike- the "RC61"?
At least the GXV160 gets bumped up to 4.6 hp this year.

the cbr1000rr will have headlights like the new ducati 1098(round and slit conbined),a swingarm similar to the 1990 gull arm nsr 250 and about 185ps engine PS(prob 160 max at the rear wheel with the crappy oem exhaust)
nothing to get excited about imo...
