"Exercise restraint and discipline, only responding to posts from legit customers and those with constructive positive intent, you will find that the handgrenades explode harmlessly. You have many satisfied customers who are happy to have the parts you've made. My suggestion to you is keep making good parts, keep getting more customers, take care of them and let them speak for you."
I still don't understand why Honda hasn't dropped the 800cc V4 from the VFR into an RC51 chassis..
anyone know any frame builders?

The F4 is 22,995 + fees which in comparison is not that bad and with no disrespect to MV owners, the F4 isn't all that ground breaking a concept - it is pretty, but nothing all together different.
If the Aprilia is 22,995 or 25,000 that puts it near 1098S territory, which isn't outlandish; yeah, 15,000 would be better but unlikely.

No arguement, I'd have an MV750/1000 if we could get them in Canada easily.
1098S territory is manageable andTBH I would just buy the base 1098.

that's good, because you'll be walking home when it breaks and the parts are backordered.
I kid.
Seriously, how has the Prilia's longevity been for the past 5-8 yrs?
Actually, Im hoping it's priced over $20K, this way I dont commit any crimes in coming up with the money to buy one if it should come in at $15K or less....I still think this is the bike Aprilia NEEDS to get that company going.
I hope they price this right, there's an Aprilia dealer 5 min walk from my house.
Well if the price ain't right you can always afford Pat's RC45... and after 5
years of mind altering riding aboard Honda's Gp inspired exotic V4 it should be
worth the same or even more... how can you loose???

Is this motor from the same manufacturer - Rotax or from Aprilia?

Can't imagine an RC45 going for reasonable money in NA. But if it was I would. BTW I may be moving to Japan by the end of the year; I've got a few irons in the fire. What am I looking at for rare Japanese exotica in Japan?

Aprilia's have excellent build quality and the Rotax engines in the Mille have proven to be bullet-proof.
Piaggio bought the entire company a few years ago (Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Laverda, Derbi and Gilera) to add to their well-known Piaggio, Scarabeo and Vespa lineups. They are the largest scooter/motocycle company in the Europe, maybe #2 globally after Honda (IIRC) and the company has a rock solid balance sheet.
The company doesn't 'need' the V4 to 'get going' - they are doing just fine financially... however, they do need to revamp their liter bike offering to keep it current in the face of the Japanese I4 and Ducati 1098. They do 'fairly well' in the 125 & 250 GP categories already...
