Default Daytona SBK Spoiler

Matt is da man! Let's Ben by 2 times during the race, just to pass with the draft on the last lap.

Good showing by the other manufacturers (except yammi ) Props to factory Kawasaki for having a good machine, and the Honda too. WTF happened to Ben B? Will he ever win again?

The ducati was looking good with Neil on it though

I thought it was a typial Ben B performance. He shows so strong in qualifying just to disappear in the race.

He's so brilliant when he's on, but most of the time he's nowhere near as good.

I'm interested in hearing what he has to say. He didn't have a terrible start, but he couldn't keep up with the other factory bikes at all - not even on the first lap.

I guess Suzuki forgot to give Yates the traction control?

So what is Eric doing this year? I kind of missed that.

Also, wanted to comment on SPEED's comentators. Even tho WSBK and MotoGP get sometimes a lil annoying as they get excited, I think the way they cover motorcycle rcing is so much more interesting.

For example: I like when they tell you that this guy just made a pass on this guy, and that guy is going wide and he's not gonna make it .. ahhh .. he did.

They also tend to show the exicting part of the field where majority of overtaking and battles going on. Either they have more cameras, or they do better job controlling them, but it just seems like their coverage and SPEEDs is worlds apart.

When watching SPEED coverage, they are all over the place. They dont stay long on any of the groups. They rarely tell you who moves up or down, they just tell you every so ofthen what the running order is...

This race was the prime example. They had so many nice passes in the kawa/honda/ducati group ... and somehow they managed never to tell you who just overtook who. Hodgson was running in the back, next thing he's 2 riders up, and they dont say a word about it, just announce his new position in the field.

Is it just me or does anybody else notice how the Suzukis sometimes misfire coming off a corner, and the exhaust plume turns kinda white? It's not in places where they are between corners and holding it in 1 gear/on the rev limiter either, it's in places where they are accelerating thru the gears. The AMA just needs to legalize TC because they can't police it anyway.

Yates has a separated shoulder. They were talking about it in the pre race discussion. He's hurting bad.

The Kawasakis were looking good and actually I was pulling for them. I like both Hayden brothers they race with alot of heart. To hear Earl on the PA was cool also what a great dad.

Yates was banged up but riding within his limits and looked good in the Superstock race. Geoff May was hauling ass on the M4/Emgo bike in the Superstock race until the Pirellis went south. Mladin was looking smooth as ever but gotta hand it to Spies he might bust a win or two this year he is looking good.
