Default Aftermarket Clip On, and the M/C??????????

I replaced my stock clip ons with some LSL jobbies. My master cylinder use to bolt up to my stock clip ons. That can't be done with the LSL clip ons. What do most people do to solves this problem?

What exactly is the problem? Got a picture of the bars, and your brake set up?

Hard to know how to fix it without seeing what the problem is...

I'll take pics when I get home. Basically the M/C is normally attached to the stock clip on via a bracket, and screw so that it doesn't flop around. My new clip ons don't have a place for this bracket to srew into.

You're talking about the reservoir, right? Not the actual M/C? If it's a remote reservoir, you should be able to fabricate a new bracket and attach it to some other point. Maybe the front of the triple clamp or something. It's one of those deals where you just have to look at what you have and come up with something...

Well... Dan Kyle machined a piece to fit the radius of the bar clamp of the Sato Riser bars & attached the Brembo cup to it. All part of a kit he designed, but I kinda like paying for other peoples ingenuity instead of having to invent my own as it saves time & aggravation in many cases

Well ya don't see many others developing their own mounting kits for the parts they sell... Most of the time they just leave up to the shmuck that bought the part to figure it out & then they have to come post a question asking for advice on a message forum
