I wonder if they would nullify his 3 championships on the Gix1K.....

18 Gixxers out of 30 tells a story, eh!

And Mladin is just plain faster than anyone else. Simple as that.

When Eric Bostrom won Pikes Peak and Mid Ohio, they sent his bike to Atlanta to be torn down.

They have yet to do that with Mladin.

I guess that's what happens when you have Schwants as part of the AMA. Suzuki "owns" the AMA.

You're implying that Mladin is fastest only because he cheats?

Oh good Lord. Nice paranoia. Perhaps Mladin just flat rocks...ever think of that? Suzuki owns the AMA...jesus. Get a grip.

No. I'm just busting chops. I am a fan of Mladin too. Always have been. And I get pissed off when retarded Nicky Hayden fans bring up 2002.

But the guy is unbelievably fast!

I'm not accusing Mat of cheating, but if something did come out that he was doing something illegal, I'm just saying that I would not be surprised.

Sounds more like "guilty until proven innocent" to me.

Okay. Well please let me clean it up a bit.......

Mladin is one hell of a rider and we already knew that. Reference, his championships on the 750 against the RC51s.

But the way his laptimes keep coming down is Rossi-esque. He's unbelievable! Simply put.

The only way the other guys in AMA could catch him is if "they" cheated. lol

Personally here is how I feel about the riders.

Duhamel = He's just there to collect a check and beat up on Privateers in the Daytona 200.

Zemke = He needs to get hungry again

Ben Boz = He's a mental case that needs to stay motivated. I feel he is in Mladin's league ability wise, but needs the mentality to match.

E Boz = I'm extremely dissapointed in his decision to leave SBK because I've always felt that if anyone could piss Mladin off and get into his head, it was Eboz. But in the end Mladin won that battle.

Hodgson = He's fast, but I doubt he'll beat Mladin on his home turf without at least 4-5 years under his belt in the AMA.

Spies = If Spies doesn't beat Mladin, nobody will. Suzuki is lucky to have him.

Aaron Yates = He's the cleanup man and will win all the support classes if he's healthy.

I've had the live timing feed up all morning, and my jaw dropped when I saw Miladin's 37 in practice. But, it didn't seem like he could keep that up too much. I left my desk for a while, and when I came back I saw that Matt was leading the qualifying session, and is now thowing down 37's like they're nothing. Hell, we could see him dip into the 36's. Pretty amazing! Especially for a guy that doesn't seem to like Daytona that much. Maybe though he just doesn't like the Daytona hype.

Face it, The guy is good. Almost as good as Nicky was back in 2002.

Wanna impress me and the rest of the world, go to another bike and do the same thing. Otherwise, you'll always be suspected of cheating some how......if he really wanted to kill the myth then he should have them or someone break the bike down after a big win.

When has he ever decimated the competition the way he has for the past 2-3 yrs?

Mladin is awesome no two ways about it. The only thing I would even question is the use of traction control. That rumor has been squashed by him publicly several times now over the last few years, but two things stick out in my mind.

1. His bike sounds different than ANY other bike including Factory Suzuki's out there when getting on the gas in the turns

&

2. It has recently been admitted that traction control has been an integral component of the World Superbike scene for several years now...

Just makes ya wonder...

IMO he is a fantastic rider who is on a great bike that cheats some the traction control is in there and everybody knows it how else would he not be losing his tire so late? that bike must be a rear wheel spinner to say the least but he always has tire left??? fastest bike with the most rubber at the end HUH?

Even in his latest press conference today he still does not deny that he is using or has used traction control he just tap dances around the topic & talks about several tangents of it...

But he does blatantly say he doesn't have "launch control"

Weird
