DAYTONA BOUND!!!!
I woke up this morning with a road trip on the brain. So I went into work and called my road trip friend, can you get off work till monday? he called me back and said it was looking possible, he works at the local hospital in the Cath Lab, a few heart attacks in but looks like he can get off. I'm definetely free our work load is light to none. So it looks like the V-strom will be packed and loaded tonight and we'll head south in the morning 5 AM local time, 775 miles to be done tomorrow and we'll be at the campground which at this time we are unsure if we can get a camp spot but there is a State campground a short distance from the private one we usually use. I'm pumped I have never been to a Supercross race and that is my main reason for going this year, the 200 blows with the current format,,,yawn, of course I'll watch it and definetly the Superbike race
This will be my 1st long haul on the Wee Strom it has 2k miles on so its ready. My friend rides a 1150GS BMW with 30k on the clock its good to go. Called my dad invited him but he said no way I'm riding that Harley 775 miles in one day,,,he is so funny
Only thing that can stop us now is if a bunch of people start having heart attacks locally and my bud can't leave the hospital other than that we're good to go for an almost Iron Butt ride tomorrow morning.
