It's called "washing a title" and is illegal (fraud).

Your not supposed to be able to, theres a reason for it being labeled SALVAGE TITLE!!

It was totaled by an insurance company and rebuilt.

If you were to title it in another state then bring it back into the state your in and title it again, you might get it through but thats the only way I've ever heard of it done.

It's possible (and legal) in Minnesota.

Rebuild the bike, get it inspected, and a clear title arrives a few weeks later in the mail.

Why would you want to ? So you could rip someone's ass ?
Passing off a bike you got for a song and stuck a few bucks into fixing ?
Would you check to see that the frame is straight and everything else is 100% safe ?
Would you tell the buyer that the bike was once a salvage.

The same for Georgia. If two or more major components were replaced, the new title will say "Salvage". Otherwise, it will come back as a clear title.

Only one left not in captivity.
