Default RC51 RVT1000r FI FI FI FI FI please help

hello my fellow bikers

Just curious about my bike i have an 05 RVT1000r RC51 and I am having a strange problem with it, it would go up to 3000 to 4000RPM and all of a sudden the FI light comes on and slows me down and then feel like it would throw me of the bike and boggs down and I can't figure it out and Honda mechanics can't figure it out either, It is still under warranty but its been sitting at the Damn shop from the last 2 and half month..so if any body had similar problems and was able to solve it..please let me know how they fixed it...

Only time I have had issue with the FI light is when I have washed the bike and some water has got in the airbox or in the electrics. Once it dries out, it goes away.

Do you have a Power Commander? If so, ground it to your battery, many people have reported issues grounding it other places. If it is stock and under warranty - push the Honda Service advisor to check with the regional guys. They may just be sitting on the bike not wanting to waste anytime, since they dont get to charge you hourly. Shouldnt be that hard to figure out if they have a decent tech. Sounds like some kind of ECU or harness issue.
