They suck... If you ride hard enough to actually need them then the backing plates warp & cause drag on the rotors.
It's been rumored that EBC has fixed this problem in the last year with thicker backing plates, but the problem is still being reported by racers who have tried them (again)
Vesrah & some of their latest stuff is absolutely awesome, but so are the prices...
Galfer has made some very notable improvements in their product line recently too!
DP has always been a solid performer for me as well, but I used to have to file the edges of the pads to make them fit properly LOL
I tried a set of the carbon lorraine's on a friends bike that were downright amazing, but forgot what version they were.
There are lots of choices out there with EBC being at the bottom of the list for many riders, but as I have said many times before as far as OEM pads go Honda's are the best in the business in terms of stopping power, feel & longevity, outperforming many of the aftermarket pads & I still contend that the HRC pads are the best I have used in the RC calipers.

To start, I may just stick with the OEM pads. They work just fine on the street, and as for the track, it will be my first time out next month - I imagine I'll be able to get by with the OEM pads. Also, since I am upgrading to SS lines for the first time, I might as well deal with one upgrade at a time.
I got a sponsorship here in Japan from Vesrah. I will say that they are the best I have used. They stop very well, the initial bite is AWESOME. The price is a bit hefty, but no more than some. I will continue to use them even when I am no longer sponsored.
I would like to try the Carbon Lorraines that LDH was talking about. I have had my eye on those for a while. Who knows, maybe this year.
I've never had any problems with EBC's on the RC, or any other race bike I've had! Just make sure that they're the HH "kit" pads, which are designed for the track.
You know....opinions are like @%sholes, everyone has one.
I just put the EBC GFA "kit" pads on my RC. They are working great. Great bite, Smooth progressive feel. I'll probably stick with them unless a good deal on the Lorraines pop up. I've heard all the complaints about them, but a friend is a dealer for them, so I decided to give them a whirl. I'm glad I did.

Yea, a friend of mine used EBC on his race/track bikes and speaks highly of them - but he hasn't raced in years so I figured his opinion might be a little out of date.
I use EBC HH race pads and love them minimal abuse to my rotors, I tried Dunopads which killed my rotors and went back to the EBC's I've never had a set warp? They also just switched to a new pad compound.
