crg levers

OK, I have a weird question...I bought a used RC...frame is a 2000 with SP2 motor and swinger mod....the brake lever is crg, and after a driveway tip over the clutch lever(looks stock...or stock style replacement) is folded up and I need a replacement. Long story short, I want to buy a matching silver CRG clutch lever, however fitment shows only for '02 models and up...what gives??? Will a crg fit?
