Default Finished Tonight!!!

Ok just got back from the shop burning the midnight oil!!! I didnt weigh it yet.... will try and find a scale tomorrow lost my old one. Looked like a bunch of material was removed like ~80/1000 If i want to remove more later its simple enough to remove, plus It will give me a chance to try my new german buddies breather off the magneto cover brilliant idea and easy enough to weld aluminum.
My new winter project

Ill have pics tomorrow and hopefully be riding it hard on sunday!

Hi

nice that you stuck with your project.
That was not my idea with the breather, it was HRC !
I have seen it in the HRC factory manual... Just a cheap copy but still works

Regards

Ok went out for a ride draggin knee on hwy49 bike is even more fun to ride

more flickable especially noticed in chicanes
starts/idles fine
revs faster / builds power faster
more engine braking

def next time i pull my bike apart to perform el cheapo hrc big breather ill take more material off the flywheel as well, i didnt think that it would make that big of a difference but it did and I want MORE

bro quit being a pansy take time when you mount it, ensure it is spinning true with a runout gauge, over and over and over and then when its perfect start to cut that mofkr take her deep and hard lol steady flow of cutting oil going where the tool is cutting

whats the worst that could happen?

I'll be sending this out because I no longer have access to a lathe and my limited skills(trial and error ..meaning none would have jack it up) but did I get it correct that you took 80 thou out? That seems like nothing... I need to re-read??
