Wonder how the RC does for longevity regarding valve adjustment intervals.

You need to add 30,000+ miles.

My bike (mostly street riding with two or three track days a year) needed them done around 20.000 miles the first time.

So I read this poll, I did NOT need to adjust valves yet regardles of miles(like other people i'm sure), there is nothing for me to vote for...
So, maybe thats why there is a low vote count...

+1
I think the poll needs to have a title something along the lines of 'At which service interval did your valves need adjusted?'. Then list 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

true true true, but if you don't fit the above don't vote...pretty simple.
Having worked on many sportbikes "most" have needed a adjustment or two by the 30k mark.

valve adjust check
First valve adjust soppose to be done at 16K according to manual if I remember right.I had mine checked at 16K and they were spot on according to honda dealer!Actualy who ever I talked to who has,had RC and had they valves checked evrybody told me that valves were spot on!!!But this may be my case, mine RC has over 25K half off them hard miles and I will not check them any time soon but that's just me!!!

Then don't complain if no one votes.
FWIW, mine were still in spec at 30k miles.

And yet at some point it sounded like a great idea to get a 999! Epic fail!
