Default ECU, resistance to water?

Im about to relocate my ECU, was thinking about getting a smaller battery, and putting it next to it under the seat - but how about water, would it be a problem? It will be subjected to water there, not much, but still?

I don't think I would put the ECU close to a potential source of water....unless there is a way of sealing it better. Maybe inside a lightweight plastic cover or box, and using silicone to seal the wires...just a thought.

RAZR51 - Ive seen people putting it under the side fairing, maybe thats the better option, but still seems like it would get wet there from time to time.

MRGRN - thought about it, especially after your dollar shitcanned itself, how much you charging with shipping to Denmark?
