Default Upper Fairing Alignment?

Hey all,

Just took the mirrors, fairing stay, upper fairing, etc apart to detail the goods. Now when i put the upper fairing back on it doesn't align with the intake opening properly. It seems to be leaning about a 1/2 inch to the right. WTF? What am i doing wrong? Everything seems to be right. Getting the fairing stay and upper fairing aligned properly was a bit if a bit%h, but its all back together with the mirrors on and now looks like $hit cause the front doesn't line up clean with the intake.

The bike has the Ohlins sterring dampener so it has the Ohlins fairing stay on it. Anyone ever experience this before? It lined up perfect before i took it apart.

it has to be wires. Check on the plastic piece the bolts onto the bottom of the upper fairing then check your V fairing.

i think my Ohlins fairing stay is warped (some how). Got it figured out last night (kinda). had to put 2 little washers under the one bolt for the fairing stay where the gas tank gets bolted down. I'd like to assume that it has always been a little mis aligned and never noticed until i took it apart and put it back together. I bought the bike used this summer and still have lots to learn about these RC's.

Thanks for the help guys, i'll have many more questions for everyone as i get deeper into this thing.
