I had a set of the Road and Track rearsets for a while and they were very solid, functional and attractive.
I have to disagree with you guys on that single sided swingarm though. That thing is BUTT ugly. Sure from the right side you can see the side of an open wheel, but your left side of the bike will be forever marred.

I bought Stunnas RAM rear sets in the very begining of this shit and loved them. No flex, great looks, hell of a great set of rear sets but I would also agree that the swing arm doesn't realy do it for me. A cat on this site was selling a Duc CF swing arm no too long ago that looked shit tons better for about the same price after conversion to USD. What was that one company that made a upgraded yet rare bike using the Honda SP motor and running gear?

While not as trick as the RAM unit, I know with a little elbow grease, the vfr unit should fit most things. Here's a little project of mine from the early 90's. Sorry for the crappy pic but I didn't have the greatest digital camera in 94
Why not go this route if you like the Mondial? The specifications
The Bike: The Roehr 1250sc boasts high-spec running gear – Ohlins suspension, Marchesini alloy wheels, Brembo brakes with radial-mount calipers at the front, composite bodywork and is powered by the 1250sc 180HP, specially developed supercharged version of the HarleyDavidson* 1250cc Revolution* engine. State of the art supercharger technology has been applied, providing reliable high power output with a broad, linear power delivery.
The Chassis: A unique modular CrMo steel and aluminum frame has been developed. This frame uses these two materials at areas in which their material characteristics are best suited. The result is a stiff, light weight structure that provides unparalleled steering response
The Mondial story is the usual case of "great idea, sloppy execution".
I've seen only one of those things on the road in my life and was far from impressed with it. They had lots of problems with the electronics (they ditched the ultra-reliable Denso/Keihin OE stuff for some in-house stuff which of course gave them lots of headaches and never worked properly), they failed to put up anything remotely resembling a dealership network and the guy throwing money at it at least had the common sense to bail out in time and use the money to buy a stake in our local track which is at least giving him some dough in return.
What's the sense? You can make a very trick VTR-SP for less money and you would end up with a more reliable bike with spares actually available. If you want to be faster a 999S can probably show it a clean pair of heels for less money.
About Ram items... what's the sense of fitting an SSSA to a bike which was born with a DSSA? Honda went the other way around with the RC45, and if they knew a thing back then was how to make the sexiest swingarms in motorcycle history.
another abandoned concept, just imagine the loads on the axle....weight distribution.....just doesn't make sense, i guess it was designed fort fast wheel changes say in endurance type racing...
for the rest the roehr bike sounds awesome i'd love to have a play...
