Default dumb and dumber

I did the pair removal yesterday and put it all back together, turned the key and no fuel pump. I didn't have the body work on so I grabbed the multi meter and started testing things. I was pulling out my hair(what little is left) when I remembered my boy had been playing around with the throttle. Sure enough the kill switch was depressed. Duh sometimes it is the simple things....Snorfer

if you had the body work off .. bank sensor would not be upright ... hence if its not plugged in .. or not in the upright position there will be no fuel .. the bike's ecu thinks the bike is laying on its side ...so hence fuel is OFF to avoid 'fire'...

check that .... id bet on it cause pair mod you should have not been near anything else that would effected fuel

Why would the bank sensor be off or tipped if the bodywork is off? Isn't that mounted to the bottom of the battery tray?

opps... my bad im thinking 1000rr... (right behind headlight, and usually when people remove upper they take headlight off in 1 shot as well ..

all the same... depends how far he has it tore down ... not many things hold back the fuel pump relay..

fuse, relay, bank sensor, mistaken unplugged wire, on/off switch

There are only two kinds of motorcycle riders.

"those who have swore at their bike when they have the kill switch off"

"and those that are going to swear at their bike when they have the kill switch off"
