Any of them should work just make sure you soak em in water before you start wrapping. It makes it a whole lot easier to work with.

That's a neg. on the soaking part... "Lightly dampen" the wrap... other then that.. I'll say +1 with jgos929

Pat, JUST follow the directions on the box and you'll be goldin'

Most important part(s) of the process is...
#1)Let it DRY.. Completely after install\wrappin' is done... and
#2)USE High Temp. Paint on the exhaust wrap, After she's completely DRY.... Most Common I have seen is 1500degs., BUT there IS a 1800deg. paint coating out there... hold out for that.. I bought mine from Summit Racing and had it dropped off at my door.

It WILL Smoke like she's on FIRE when You first start her up,.. So... run it in short periods... I let mine idle for approx. 2 to 3min. and shut down... repeat acouple times going alittle longer run in times with increased RPMs.

The Exhaust Wrap brands: I don't think really matters but there's acouple different types and from what I understand... there's a "Copper" wrap that is supposed to hold even higher exhaust temps.

GL Pat... You can give me a call sometime if you'd like to talk about it or whatever.

And again bro., Great to see you're back!

Peace Jeff

PS. check out my thread: runnin' exhaust wrap, pictures in the gallery.. here> Runnin' in> Exhaust Wrap "Paint"! HAhahahaa

Be careful with the wet wrap. Once it's wet the adhesive stuff will get on anything it touches, and it likes to stay there. Wear some gloves and watch the swing arm. FYI, some people just do the rear cylinder pipe since it's close to the shock. The front is pointless, IMO.

Wrapping the entire length of the pipes benifits power and engine operating temp. Wrapping the front will reduce the engine bay temp and that helps overall engine coolents temps. These bikes have enough problems with running hot from what I hear.

Rogue is full of crap and I want my $20 back.

There are people that have gone years with their headers wrapped and have had no problems.

Probably because the higher temps inside the pipe can lead to cracking of the stainless steel.

I plan on getting some from DEI. I hear it works really well. They also sell a spray to apply to the wrap after you install it to make it last longer. Im so tired of roasting my nuts on this thing. I will do anything to lower the heat on this thing

ceramic coat it then. the wrap is nice(cheap) but the ceram lowers skin temp to nearly nothing and there are many choices for that
