Default Need some info

Here is a very important ? Need an answer asap if you guys can. Do any of you know if an Ohlins rear shock from an 04 R1 can be made to fit the RC. I have a chance to get my hands on one that is not even a year old for a really good deal. But I am not sure if it will work. Can anyone answer this ? I got off work too late tonight to call Dan Kyle.

Thanks
