Default Stuck in gear

Alright, so I went and traded my race RC for a street RC. I got it this past weekend, titled and insured today. Got off early, really excited to go ride my new (to me) RC when I find that I cant find neutral. Hell, I cant even downshift! It feels like its in a higher gear, maybe 4th? I had to slip the clutch pretty bad to get it rollling. It is a 2000 with 14K on the clock (no clue if/when the clutch was replaced), any help would be extremely appreciated!

LOL.... As I'm reading your 1st post, I was wondering IF maybe previous owner didn't install the "Race shift" pattern... BUT I also disreguarded thinking.. NO he'll know about the "Race shift" pattern ... He's had a "racing RC" Hahahaaa

Thanks Ninja Nate

No problem! I'm always good for at least a laugh or two!

I've had 3 trackbikes now, but have never had GP shifting... SO I only botched about 3 or 4 shifts tonight. I guess thats not too bad in a 200 mile night

I've thought about running the GP shift setup on the RC, but I have a few other bikes, and I think I may get confused about which bike I'm on and click it the wrong way at the wrong time. BOOM!

I seem to have no problem running street pattern on the street bikes and "GP" pattern on the track bikes. Maybe I'm a natural?
Actually I only get confused a little in the pits. Not track or street, so I forget what to do...
