Lightbulb Flapper valve pics

I did the flapper valve last night. I know, I know... you have ALL already done this. I just thought I would post a few pictures in case there is anyone else out there that hasn't, yet. It mostly was as easy as advertised. The throttle body is NOT easy to get to however to remove the last tube and fit a plug to, at least not without removing more stuff then I wanted to do at the moment. I plugged the tube instead.

The TPO kit includes a very clean cover...

The thottle body is that way...

Plenty of room to breathe now...

Is it totally necessary to remove the upper fairing ?

I already have the dan Kyle cover just sealing petrol tank

how long does it take and did you follow the guide on rc51 rogue website

cheers

Its only necessary if you want to completely remove the flapper itself (you also remove the front section of the snorkel). I'm not sure why you would want to leave it in there though to just flap around and possibly keep 65% of your snorkel always shut.

I would say it took me about an hour, but I could probably do it again in much less. I followed the guide that came in the TPO kit I used. Its almost identical to the rogue guide though.

Good luck!

"Some people say" that even duct tape can be used to accomplish this
