Default Sato rear set questions

First, How do I make the brake lights work

Second, do I need to install a spring to keep the lever up?

I'm not sure if you need 1.0 or 1.25 thread but this is what I would invest in

Im not using the spring or the light. Theres a kit I think you can use for the light or rig up your own setup. I dont really use the rear on the street.

i use a pressure switch for the rear brake light. you can get them through sato, just screws into the rear master and is actuated when u put pressure on the brake. u have to splice the wires.
