Default Anyone have a pic of a new t stat?

Pulled the t stat, and it doesnt look right, never had it out, and want to make sure its the original.

Just picked one up tonight along with a bunch of other things.
It says 82*C on it. Fresh right outa the bag.

Thanks, I now know why fuel econ sucked, and pipes blued to the cans on the left side. Happened over the last 2 months I rode last fall. Tstat stuck half open. Doesnt even move any more. My new one should be in tomorrow.

Yeah, stuck thermostat, happened to me too.
Just remember to fit it with the small hole with the wirey thingy on the top... personal experience.

Its standard for the bleed hole to be at the top. Looked at the 2 today side by side, looks like the whole brass thermo peice moved in the stainless sheetmetal fram, it was about 3/8th of an inch longer than the new one. The brass barrel is only friction fit into the frame. poor tolerances i guess.

This is it, the barrel is definatly shifted.
