benefit of switching from a pcii to pciiiusb?

aside from the laptop convince is there any more benefits? as i have a pc2 now and was thinking of getting the pc3usb if there where some performance benefits to boot, i also get the pc3 at discount through work.

greater tuning for fuel at lower rpm intervals, ect. Hit the search forum at the top right...tonnes of info out there.
