I think Honda has done a pretty good job with the cooling system...we're riding a street legal race machine with side mounted radiators! I've ridden mine from sea level up to over 9,000ft, air temps from just below freezing up to 116 degrees, speeds from 15mph in stop & go traffic to flat out 173mph for miles & miles all with zero mods and good ole regular Honda coolant and the temp guage has fluctuated from an avg low of 175 up to a constant 209 with peaks hitting 236-240, but only because of the conditions I subjected it to. I tried the Water Wetter for about a month in the mid-summer heat of Tucson my bike hit it's all time high of 240, removed it and went back to Honda coolant, never peaked again...who knows?

yeah i went back to honda coolant also? seems to run cooler, not sure if it was type of coolant or just keeping it flushed and changed that made the difference?
