Thanks Zek, I downloaded it a year or two ago from your site. Didn't the site used to be called rc-51.org? Maybe I'm confused which is entirely possible...

That’s a great resource!

Is there any way you could host the HRC manual as well? There’s a guy here that had it up for a few days but the DL's exceeded his BW limit.

If someone has a link to the HRC manual I could download and then host. Yeah I owned RC-51.org and let it expire and some domain squatter grabbed it. So I got this one instead, and I'm not letting this one expire! Thanks for the replies!

Not to thread jack but there's a steady stream of paper factory manuals on eBay for something like $20. Got one, no regrets whatsoever. I used to work off scanned versions on the screen before on other bikes and having the real deal manual is SO much better.

Besides, Honda's shop manual is top notch.

This is the Honda Factory Service Manual, sometimes it's nice to have an electronic searchable version that you can print off selected pages. If it's free why not?

Hi fellow SP-riders

I'm new here, but have been lurking around for quite a while. I've been riding since 2000 on a CBR1000F, but bought a SP1 from 2001 with 13.000 km on it last fall, and just waiting to bring her on the roads in march/april. And of course in the nice red paintscheme ;-)

The HRC manual can be downloaded from my site among other SP related stuff Allan Bojesens hjemmeside - Download
Look at it and download what you want. Sorry that most of the text in the links are in danish ;-)

I wish I could say C U

Hi Allan
Thanks for the downloads - been looking for a site like yours for ages. I too bought an SP1 about the same time as you, same year & colours but with 13000miles on it (coincidence or what). Just finished fitting full Akrapovic system, Turn One airbox, PC111, stick coils, revalved forks & WP shock, new set of Rennsports. Just need to get a custom map in the next few weeks. I'm in England so I'm waiting for some good weather too although I dont expect its as cold here as where you are. Hope you like your SP1 - I havent ridden mine yet so I hope it doesnt disappoint.
Nick

Those are some seriously nice articles you have scanned there Allan, thanks a ton for sharing those!

Interview with Edwards and Honda tester, some comments by Saito San - very good stuff.

Now what a surprise, SP2 frame and swinger are SOFTER than SP1, and swinger they used on SBK bike is EVEN SOFTER than SP2. They also say that the bike in stock form is way overbuilt and is actually good for handling the 180+hp full race spec engines. Do we start dremeling away material off the frame now?

Try wsmc551@gmail.com

I dont check that one very often so let me know if you send it. If that doesn't work I can set up an FTP at work.

Thanks Josh! I would love to have a copy!

Thanks for your kinds words

I've been riding 200 km/120 miles on my SP1, and it was a hole new world - compared to the CBR1000F. And coombehouse - I can't think of any thing that will disappoint you on the SP1

My bike came with a full titanium system from Sil Motor, Italy, and I've installed PCIIIusb, 15/41 sprockets + Speedohealer, and of course made the free mods. My first trip, within 2-3 weeks, goes to a dealer to get it mapped.
