I didn't think they made bonsias for the SP1...just the "high" mounts which are different than the bonsias.

But the throttle bodies are larger on the SP2. So the map will need to be custom made for the SP1 throttle bodies and the Banzais.

Meh, wouldn't it just run a little rich? Not such a bad thing longevity sake.

I am not sure about the rich running or not. The maps just add X% over the stock ECU A/F chart. So the smaller injectors and T bodies can only flow so much. To add to this the initial ECU A/F chart of the SP1 is different from the SP2. So for the sake of this lets say the SP1 sends 50CFM of fuel @5k RPM and the SP2 with the larger T bodies and 12 hole injectors send 75CFM of fuel @ 5k then the PC adds 5% to the SP2's stock A/F chart you end up nearly 30CFM shy on the SP1 than the SP2. Even if you knew the differances at each RPM and modded the map you would need to account for the injector size and its ability to get that vol. of fuel atomized. Rich or lean in the end we still are left with a bike that isn't running an optimized map for the increased flow and decreased back pressure of the Banzai's. So I guess the point is if you want a preformance exhaust to do what it was intended to do then a suitable map should be used.

Yuppers to be done right or run the high mount SP1 map and call it good enough.

How many of you are running sp2 pipes on sp1's? my guess is this is purely asthetic as the Rogue site claims higher hp's with low mount set up.

well ya ofcourse its more aesthetic than peak HP gains, but im just looking for a sold map that wont run too lean or too rich and no flatspots... wishful thinking for a non dyno tuned map huh? lol
