I agree.
I used to ride my mint, RC51 streetbike on the track every year. I'm pretty much done doing that I hope. Sure, it's better than a stick in the eye but there are so many better track bikes to choose from. The RC51 is heavy, expensive to fix, slow, portly, hard to turn, heavy. I rode a friends 954 at BIR just for a shakedown after he crashed, and OMG, what a revelation.
Really the F4 will be cheaper to run for sure. Also, it will be lighter and just as fast so I think that's a no brainer.
