Default Rear Hugger???

I'm about to buy a rear hugger for the RC. What is a good "quality" rear hugger? What are you guys, and gals, using and any recommendations?

Eurobikes, coler match is perfect, fit is perfect, kinda pricey.

That search button can be very tricky at times.

OPP Racing makes some nice stuff. I've got their hugger in carbon fiber and really like it. It follows the line of the swingarm and really does hug the tire. At the end of the hugger I have maybe 1/2" of clearance to the tire.

Mine is not the cheapest, but is one of the nicest. Pricing varies depending upon money echange rate with the Japanese Yen.
I have a CF rear hugger from Magical Racing. Do a web search and you'll find it.

sorry Eric i think you are wrong. The NWS that has been on my bike for two years has a piece that goes down to protect the rear shock

you have a link to the BST or a pic maybe?

I forgot which brand I have on my SP1, but its a tight fit that doesn't have room, if at all for tire warmers. Fortunately I'm too slow for tire warmers
I've also seen the Magical Racing one on a SP2 and it seems to be of high quality with enough clearance on a 190 tire to put on tire warmers. They make a 190/70 tire now
I'd recommend a Magical Racing though don't know how much they are.

I'm running the harris hugger which i purchased from EMA. Its pretty decent, fitwise, etc. and carbon is decent as well. Not as nice as the Moriwaki stuff, but still good. I like it b/c it has an extension that goes down by the swingarm to protect it (in front of the rear tire).

Stel67, if you want to take some pics, that would be awesome!

CBR400RR.....$10.00, dude, you know how many women you can get in Thailand for $10.00!?!?!?! j/k...that is a good price, where?

Everyone else thanks for your response.

What I have been thinking is I want to stay with the same paint scheme of the bike. The rear of the bike is silver, so I am wanting a silver hugger. I was going to powder coat the front rim red and the rear silver, to match the bike...and wanted the hugger to match. I am not the best at design or colors so I may be way off here. What do you think?

You could paint the 600RR hugger silver easily. This is the one CBR400RR is talking about. You get it from a Honda dealer - its an OEM part. It would be much more cost effective than taking a CF one and painting it.

I say paint your bike how you like. Mine is Rustoleum flat black (put my factory fairings in storage). Some people love it, some hate it. Makes it easier to repair when I throw it down the road/track. Been pretty lucky so far...knock on wood.

I don't have any pics of mine, but you could also go with a 954 rear hugger, it is a little bit wider and a little bit longer than the 600rr one. It's like $28 from ron ayers, the info is:

Part Number: 80101-MCJ-750ZA
Description: FENDER C *NH105*
Price: $28.24

Damn your bike is clean dhd!
