I used it in my truck and it makes loading and unloading a breeze when you are alone. They work great.

I use mine in my trailer and when I get to the track I unbolt it and use it in the pits. I mounted a steel plate under the floor and welded some nuts on it. It only takes two bolts to securely hold the chock and the bike down. I have had three RC's in the trailer with three sport chocks with no problems at all. Its well worth the money.

I have been thinking about one of these.

Anyone know who has the best deal on them?

I also remember another company selling an allmost identical product, any comments?

yeah at 200 dollars its kind of expensive but its cheaper than if your bike falls over. I almost lost my bike twice with one of those crappy Pingle stands. Now two years with the baxley and never even been close to dropping my bike.

sport chock rocks. I have another brand that I bought for $99 through a group buy, and can say the extra $$$'s are worth it.

WOW the search button worked!!

Have any of you seen what these are going for now?? I went to the dealer that carries them tonight. They wanted $255. Two months ago I was in there and they wanted $205. It has taken them this long to get them in and they will not budge on the price even though they remember me coming in and telling (two months ago) as soon as you get one call me I WANT IT. Jerks.

So my question. Anyone know where else to get one. Is $255 the going rate now? Any used ones out there. I can just barely justify $205 but dang it not $255 especially since I was in there 2 months ago and had to wait this long for it.

Thanks.

Look around online. Here is one for 215, not sure about shipping. http://www.indysuperbike.com/c...25794 I think I got mine for around 225 shipped.

Bruce

PS, they are awesome.

$205 seems to be the going rate for them everywhere. there are similar products BUT the baxley chock is much better (imho) because it cantilevers together as the bike moves forward in the chock . . . meaning, the further the bikes goes toward the stopping point, the more secure the chock gets. similar, cheaper models don't have this feature - and that feature is what makes baxley chocks kick ass.

the *only* drawback is the fact that you can't really use them with tire warmers. but for trailering and everything else, they are great.

Sheesh, you had them at Cornerspeed way back in March!!! What you mean you just got yours?

In fact, when I saw you and your friend using them, that was all she wrote. Nothing like them, in the trailer and out.

In the trailer they are the living chit. IMO, can't be beat. I got the trailer bracket kit that cost $25 each. Got two of them, Mary installed them, and let me tell ya, they keep the bikes tight. No movement, no chance of hitting your rotors up against the metal chocks, I mean can't say enough for this gadgets.

At that track, you just unscrew the allen wrench, pull up the chock, and sit it in your pit area, peice of cake. BTW, I got me a red one too.

I went on to Baxley's website. I got a dealer list. Looks like I will make some calls this afternoon.

Any other info would be appreciated.

I bought the Condor Chock and it works great (think I paid like 170.00) welded it to the frame of my all metal trailer and it makes loading and unloading a breeze

We have 3 of them. The last one I got from Baxley himself. Talked to him on the phone. The first two, I got online, but can't recall the site. I know parts411 has them.

BTW, I should look at the dates before I reply too. This is an OLD thread.

And you know those babies are heavy, and shipping is a big nut too. $210 is the going rate, and about $25 for shipping.
