Where to start. At first I thought the crash did relitvly little damage to the bike. But it turns out almost everything was bent to some degree or another. The swingarm, frame, forks, exhaust, triple clamps and I just found out my shock was damaged as well. Oh well, its only time and money.
So here is the start of my 2009 Winter SP2 rebuild. This wont be quite as thorough as my last rebuild post but I will try to update it with new photos and info as Im able to work on it.

I dont know how this happened exactly but its off to the wheel doctor to see if it can be fixed.
It must of been a hard hit, I flipped over my swing arm to remove the shock linkage and noticed this.
I picked up a new 05 frame and 04 swingarm a few weeks back and sent them to the anodizers. The black anodized frame looks great! A battery leaked on the swingarm and etched the aluminium. Its all fixed now. Yes, thats a new forged mag wheel in the backgorund.
I finished disassembly yesterday and started to reassemble the frame and engine today. It took many hours with picks and small screwdrivers to remove all the built up bugs, tire, and crash dirt from the engine.
This is about as far as I can go for now. Waiting on new All Balls steering bearings and new swingarm bearings.
I bent both fork outers, Dan Kyle did a nice job replacing the tubes. Yes, that a new YoYoDyne slipper on the ground.

Had i known the kind of stuff you were looking for a could have helped out on the frame, wheels, swinger, possible rotors(not sure if you dinked any of them up), misc parts and i think i even have a spare clevis laying around somewhere.
Thanks John. I saw the deal you had on the 16.5 wheels but I wanted to stay with 17. As far as rotors I have three sets of Iron Brake Techs.
I have to send the shock back to Dan K. It hit hard enough to possibly do damage internally. If you take a look at the clevis photo look at mark at the top of the link. The link was crushed slightly and the roller bearings are pinched. Dan said to send them both back and he would see what he could do. Kyle Racing has been very good to me this year, seriously helping me out with parts and suspension work.
It also turns out my triples are bent. I have an appointment with Mackie Welding in Sierra Madre who is one of the best at fixing bent frames, swingarms, wheels and hopefully triple clamps. Shawn Higbee approached me last WSMC weekend and offered to sell me an unused set of Attack clamps he had laying around for his RC51. The price was right so there on there way now. Worst case Ill have those anodized and use them.
I tell you, every God Damn part on this bike got bent or damaged. More then once I have seriously thought about scraping it and picking up a new bike. I know just like last time I will be happy I didnt and when its all back together... again.

So how much weight do you really save with a forged mag Marchesini over OEM. 5.0lbs to be exact. Weighed both SP1 rear with OEM rotor, 44 tooth sprockets, and Dunlop 195/65R-17 Ntech slick 6680 compound. OEM 34.5LBS, Marchesini 29.5LBS
Im still waiting from my front to arrive, when it does I will weigh it compared to the OEM as well.
Other news, my Attack Triples came back fixed and are now straight. The new swingarm bearings arrived and I should have the bike on the stands by the end of next week.
Got the Swingarm bearings pressed in and used the stock link/shock to assemble for now. At least its on the stands where I can work on it. I should be able to get allot done over the next two weeks of vacation.

Thanks, but this is like the forth complete build I have done with my RC51's (I have three I think, at least enough parts to build them). I unfortunately know every nut and bolt all too well.
damon, any reason you decided to mount the t-stat housing much lower with 90 degree hoses instead of using shorter straight hoses and having it higher up?

If you look behind the front hose you will see the Morawaki airbox and how low it comes down.
