Actually a full system isn't extactly the best from what LDH has been saying all these years after tons of dino times and what not. Sure..losing the weight is very cool but a Sato slip-on (lows) gets you the best out of the bunch.

Mike works for Dan and sells sato, what do you thinik he would say

there are dyno's on Rogue of yosh fulls and ANY reputable tuner will tell you on a mild build or more a full exhaust outperforms any slip-on in the mid to upper ranges or we would have seen sato's on every privateer, pro racer.

the yosh loses some below 5500 rpms to the better slip-ons but who the fuk rides around below 5500rpms?

Horde has some too, will go sort those and you can ask dstewart and others with race bikes what they are running as well for some other opinions

Both Termignoni and Leovince used to make full systems for the SP1 and both are very rare to find these days...

With a stock or even lighly modified engine, the OEM head pipes are about as good as your going to get. Honda nailed the length and diameter of the OEM head pipes for the RC51 (there good up to the mid 130 HP range).

With a more modified engine you would need a larger diameter head pipe. I have been running Full Akrapovics for the last few years (good up to the mid to upper 140 HP range). My next exhaust system may have even bigger head pipes, some where in the 60+mm range.

You may still find the Full Akrapovic SP2 system in stock laying around. It will work fine on an SP1 but some grinding of the exhaust outlet flanges will need to be done.

Moriwaki used to make a full system as well, but I don't think I have EVER seen one go up for sale.

i disagree DS. the yosh full out performs with mapping most, if not all slip-ons above like 7000 rpms on a street bike FWIW

most aftermarket fulls measured the OEM honda headers and have the same length primes and the same off the head tapers, all of them in fact

I also have the capability to make 60mm fulls with HRC collars i bought for the heads stephen

I love my full acra on my SP1.

Being the cheap bastard that I am, I would have never
put it on - but I bought it used, and the previous owner
had blown the cash on it. Didn't make much difference
in the price of the bike, which is a lesson for ya.

The full Akra makes the bike a bit lighter, I suppose.

Personally, if I was looking at a stock system, I'd
just install slip-ons. Try to get ones that aren't
too loud (see South Park Harley episode), they
don't make any more power.

I think you should take a look at a two to 4 to 6 to eight to one system.

My next "system" will be an Akrapovic because I like the little, red scorpion.

Mike didn't work for Dan until only a few years ago but I get your point.

I inquired a couple of years ago (through a friend who lives 10 miles from their factory) and they told me they do not make it anymore but to "keep an eye out"...

Thumb up for full Akrapovic.

I got 2 sets with a custom high exit mount on the bike and another spare system with a dented front pipe. Maybe I'll look around to see if it can be repaired or replaced.

Just think if you collaborated with Mike, you'd sell all those Black Dragon pipes and everyone would be fooled into buying your inferior product instead of Dan's.
