I thought you were looking for a 600 for the track. Had i known you would take a 1000 i would of told you about my 2003 GSXR 1000 with clean/clear title and 315 miles on it for 4k. Set up for dual use(track/street) and puts down 160-163whp on a supersport build.
Hell, i've even got some Ohlins forks for it as well as CZ rims, rearsets, exhaust, 520 conversion, etc. i could hook you up on a package deal.
I was looking for a 600 but the 929 just popped up. That ship has sailed now anyway.

Having the second bike for the track is great. I am running the exact same deal you are but the other way around. Have a 07Gsxr 600 for the street and a 01RC51 for the track. Looking to trade the GSXR for another RC though. Anyway, two bikes are the way to go. Much less time on the wrench...
Buy the track bike and keep the RC for the street. By the time I got done spending cash and putting cool stuff on my RC I was afraid to push it as far as would have liked to on the track. So I bought a gsxr750, they are everywhere, fairly cheap, and parts are plentiful not to mention an awesome trackbike. That said, I dont regret one thing I did to my RC51 and plan on keeping it for a long time, great sunday morning twisties bike!
