Default It was my time

First of all hind site is 20/20
second it was a stuck throttle and I didnt handle it correctly.
I was in 3rd gear and sat up and wanted to roll off throttle(throttle stuck)
I pulled in clutch, engine started to rev and I was appling brakes very quickly.
Last thoughts (I can save it!)

I tucked the front to the right and went down left, ti was a long slide.

I jumped up and moved the bike out of the lane and and several people that saw it happen, said "dude you are alive!" yea just let me move the bike and get out of your way and ya'll can go on.

Gear!

Default So I'm gonna be needing some pieces.

We will do all the really important tech stuff first.
Then we will do cosmetic stuff last.

Thank you, I have a small bruise on my left hip bone, and a small dime sized rash on my left forearm where it burned thru the left jacket arm.

Wow, I am really glad you weren't hurt. Sorry about the bike, hopefully she will be back up soon. Do you have any idea what caused it to stick?

He used to have a website, but i can't find that anymore. Try this......

Will's Rim Repair - Greenville, South Carolina (SC) | Company Profile

Oh, and be prepared to just wait around for your stuff to get finished or worked on. He's a one man(and part time wife) operation so getting back to folks and updates on progress are far and few between. And being that there are sometimes two arms on the operation chances are the left doesn't know what the right is doing.
He does good work and has been nothing but professional and honest with me. However, just prepare yourself to not be in a hurry. I know how finicky folks on this site get about wanting communication and updates every 5 minutes so just know that they'll get done when they get done.

If you got the have them asap you can go with 'frame straight' but you'll pay out the ass for it, and rush service is hit or miss. He used to be great back in the day, but apparently he's gotten so big he doesn't have to care about the customer anymore. And the prices are ridiculously expensive now. Actually suprized folks still send him work at those rates.

Default Thanks for all the help and well wishes

The leather chaps, I get teased about them all the time faired really well.
I had a can of snuff in the left pocket that took the brunt of the initial fall, I just need to replace that one left pocket. These are chaps that I build.

I do have a lot of resourses here close to Dallas as far as all the really important tech stuff is concerned. Thaks for thos links also.

In the back ground there is anothe complete RC51 standing ready to be stripped, sorry bout that track bike.

We will be back up and running soon, Glen will pop in soon, oh Glen ya got a shiney nice front wheel handy?

I don't get it? Why part out a perfectly good bike? Just roll the crunchy one in the corner and roll out on the 05/06, and use the crashed one for a spares bike.

Oh maaaan ! Sorry to see that and glad you're typing about it . How fast were you going ? If you wanted aero mirrors there's an easier way ! I concur , DO NOT molest that 'best-of-all' BLACK RC !

The track bike has a destruct frame.
I really wont take a lot of parts to get back going.
I have a lot of spares already.
I may have to use the front wheel until I can match the shiney one that I had

I wasnt looking at the speedo, but it was hi-revs 3rd gear.

The cop(no report, no citation) counted it at just under 300 feet.
