Oh, and be prepared to just wait around for your stuff to get finished or worked on. He's a one man(and part time wife) operation so getting back to folks and updates on progress are far and few between. And being that there are sometimes two arms on the operation chances are the left doesn't know what the right is doing.
He does good work and has been nothing but professional and honest with me. However, just prepare yourself to not be in a hurry. I know how finicky folks on this site get about wanting communication and updates every 5 minutes so just know that they'll get done when they get done.

If you got the have them asap you can go with 'frame straight' but you'll pay out the ass for it, and rush service is hit or miss. He used to be great back in the day, but apparently he's gotten so big he doesn't have to care about the customer anymore. And the prices are ridiculously expensive now. Actually suprized folks still send him work at those rates.
most i have ever waited was 3 weeks... well worth it ..and i had sent him 9 sets of rotors so i am sure it takes time to work that many

Gald your ok, get out there and ride asap. It's important mentally to get back in the saddle as fast as you can after a good wreck.

+1 with hawkti-man, on... Glad you're Okay... and +1 with the "Stuck Throttle" thing, as this has got Me Baffled 100%... ?
Since our RC51s throttle bodies are equiped with a 2 cable set-up.... Meaning, 1 cable opens the butterflies, which we all know what happens here.. while the other cable "CAN" close the throttle, should the return spring not work!...?? Did you try to close it manually or just let go of control of the throttle and say... OH Shit,.(Painic). she's not slowing down!?? LOL which happens More then anyone will admit to.

FWIW... on 2 accounts, (Atleast) you Need to be Thanking GOD!
#1 Thank GOD, it wasn't You hitting the "gaurd rail post" instead of your rim... You'd be DEAD!

#2 The cop NOT Giving you a ticket of any kind,... is UnReal! You would have got, at the Very least, received a "Failure to control vehicle" Ticket here in VA., for sure!

Plus 1 with not giving a crap what people think... those Chaps helped save your skin bro., well, that and your can of chew.. Hahahaa

Heal up,.. get her back together and Ride safe!

Peace Jeff

Default Throttle

" while the other cable "CAN" close the throttle, should the return spring not work!...?? Did you try to close it manually or just let go of control of the throttle and say... OH Shit,.(Painic). she's not slowing down!?? LOL which happens More then anyone will admit to."

We are just now checking things out.
The throttle is still just not right, hard to turn and hard to return.
When my oh'sh*t flaps went up the throttle hit a stop while I was trying to make it return to off. At that point I started applying brakes and it wanted to keep going so starts my slide down memory lane.
We will do full diagnostics and see what it was, maybe a cable end caught something in the housing, I just dont know yet.

My local cop was cool about it I was not impeading traffi(already moved bike)
He gave us lights just to load and we we out of there.

Hind sight is 20/20 yea there is a kill switch just right there but in that split second all I wanted was the brakes.
The crash was mine and I own it, I rode the RC all the way to the ground.

Hey, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger.
I will be back on it asap, just need a couple of days to get parts changed and bike teched.

Default Diagonsis

Result of stuck throttle is the rubber gasket that sits between tank and frame(aftermarket airbox) got sucked int throttlebody and held front butterfly open.

I had a stuck throttle issue because of a frayed throttle cable, the one on the top (which is the return cable I think?). It would only return if I opened the throttle WTFO, manually shutting the throttle did nothing? 1st time it happened was NOT COOL. Really catches you off guard.
