Default Battery relocation, weather (rain?)

Yeah the season is coming to and end where I live, and Im going nuts in mods hehe

About to relocate the battery to below the oilfilter, which I see is quite popular.

But what are your experiences with the battery in the place, and riding in heavy rain? Im guessing its going to take a beating, should one be worried about it?

No... No worries... Mines been down there for over 2 to 3 years and I've been in ALOT Of Big time down Pours! No problems whatsoever here!

Just Do it, you'll be glad you did.

Peace Jeff

I moved my battery down under the oil filter for awhile and moved it right back where it was originally.

It was too much of a pain when changing the oil. Granted, this was a race bike and I was changing the oil alot.

I couldn't tell any difference in handling.

I never had any problem in the rain with it either.
