I would love to have a shirt with the 1 Litre Duc Eater image. I would put the image here but the 10% rule is in effect (you have to be 10% smarter than the equipment you are working on). I really don't know how to insert an image.

LMAO.... I'm just seeing this now... I told you I was throwing a monkey wrench into the pot... HAHahahaaa

FYI... it's the 2004 that HAS the Best paint scheme... especially for a shirt! Then the earlier models with 05 and 06... coming in DEAD Last! Still LMAO... Thanks nomo

This IS a Patented photo\design... You would have to ask LDH for permission FIRST,.. before just going and coping "HIS picture" and selling them on shirts! By the way,... he at one time... actually more like a few times now... He was selling said T-shirts.. Ask LDH if he's got anymore for sale instead if this is really the picture design you want...

I sent RAZR51 a PM about this because I saw he had copied and pasted this picture in another thread warning him of said patent and copy write laws..?

Peace

"LDH"... aka "Lord Duck Hunter"> It is His design... So IF you guys are wanting this picture.. You need to ask him. Just a heads up is all buddy.. as I'm just trying to look out for my RC51 family

Also, As I said above in my reply: He has sold said T-shirts many times.. Ask LDH if he's got anymore for sale, if this is really the picture\design that All you guys want on your T-shirts.. .

In regards to the copyright issues, there are a ton of problems with just about every design that has been thrown up. "Legally" we can't use any them. Without permission, you can throw out "HRC" "HONDA" "RC51", pretty much all of it.

The good quality pictures (including the one I posted) are most likely all copyrighted due to the fact that international copyright laws state that the photographer (or his/her employer) is the copyright owner. But good luck finding the photographer of a picture posted up on the internet, taken at a race seven years ago half way across the world.

Luckily there probably won't be an issue with Honda, until somebody starts making real money. Even without making money, it's still a copyright/trademark issue.

All in all, I wouldn't worry too much about it as I'm sure that Honda's lawyers have their hands full chasing all the crap on eBay and elsewhere. As to the member that has the image of the RC eating the duc, I would at least ask the guy for permission or throw him a few bucks if you want. I doubt that he would sue anybody, but again, if somebody made money, that might change... I would probably be pissed if I created something only to have somebody else profit off it.

All that said, I think I'll be getting a garage poster made of this picture:

Awesome Picture!

Thanks for writing that up as well..
About LDH and his 1 liter Duc eater picture... It really might be whole hellva lot easier to see IF he's got any T-shirts left to sell.... Again, that is IF this is the picture all you boys want on your T-shirts.....?

I for one would Much rather have a picture like the one Mr. b.miller posted here above!!

Peace boys

You know what , I've changed my mind and concur with MAV , the racing pic above is brilliant , close-up enough to see detail , depicting what the RC was designed for , and a non-showroom color scheme so we don't have to worry about which stock color to choose . As long as there is a large "RC-51" on the front of the shirt , I'm in .
