Default need some feedback ... on rc51 build

ok .. so it was a toss up between the castrol red whit and green and the red white and blue...

i think i am going to do a red white and blue...

i like powdercoating and attention to details .... attached is a pic of my track bike and how i used white in the set up /design...

what color would you think to do the frame/swing arm on the red white and blue bike...

white?
blue?
red?

Anodize them blue or red.

Powdercoating would add a significant amount of weight to your rig don't you think?

there is a guy on a different forum that weighed powdercoating and paint/bake.. and it was SAME weight ...

factory frames are pc'd anyway .. all im doing is changing the color...

anodize is costly and fades in sunlight and from rubbing ...

ur input is ALWAYS welcomed stunna...

I'd do the RWB Stars and Stripes theme with a BLUE powder coated swing arm to match the Blue on the bike.

My second choice would be white.

I never liked paint or powder coating on frames. I always preferred the look of brushed aluminum. Like the Hayden edition swingarm.

But, I have to agree with RC51stunna. I'd Anodize it red or blue.

My

well like i said anodize is really costly .. and they are 'set' colors... hard to customize the red or blue... but thank you for your input ... ill keep that as a red or blue option ..

i have someone possibly working on a photo chop for me when she is done ill post all 3 colors

Thats cool, can you powder coat it light silver so it would look like the real stars and stripes bike?

Agreed about the anodizing being expensive! I paid a bunch to get my swingarm wings anodized red, but I think it was worth it. Looks great and really shows off the metal beneath.
Mine haven't faded at all yet and have seen quite a bit of sunlight.

very cool... i like the idea of silver ... but alot of my bikes once done seemed to need that 'extra' so i opted to pc frames since the bike is apart anyway

i will need some tech /info if its ok to call on you once the build starts...
i have done hundreds of 1000rrs so i can do it in my sleep .. but never a rc51 and no donnor bike next to it to go off of

like which is better SP1 or SP2 swing arm .. i have BOTH ... and why ? and if i go with sp2 what do i need to do to mount it or does it mount right up.. i have a 2000 rc51 (sp1) .... benefits/pros? cons?

Really crude and cheap photoshop job.
You need Adobe illustrator to do this kind of stuff right. All I have is Photoshop.

My personal bias is the Red Frame + Red Swingarm combo (very Ducati)
Followed by the Blue + Blue

right now its between red and blue... then i have to decide on rims.. lol

i am thinking a red front to go with the wing .. and a white rear...

but thats details for later..

but for sure right now white seems to be OUT .. (sorry guys, when you see it photoshopped like that .. red or blue make more sense)

Please, for the love of all things sacred do not do this!
If you really fancy an image change (for the worse) contact someone making frame and swingarm protectors and have them make some fiberglass ones for you.
Then you can paint them whatever color you like on the cheap.
