Yep a local dealer is doing them for $6900 here in AZ, plus tax but not other fee's...looks like Honda is finally trying to blow these things out!

I been waiting on Norm on the forum here to get back to me so I could pick one up but it's not looking promising... Maybe I will just get one locally. Anyway let me know how you like it compared to the RC!

Its way different from the rc and not trying to bag on the rc but you'll go faster easier. But they're also kinda a dime a dozen. Where's the rc's not.
It still suffers from the same oddly set up suspension, unless you fall into some magical weight range(I doubt) so you'll spend a few bucks there. Change out the front sprocket, ss lines up front and a slipon , and the free mods is all it takes to untap 95% of what the bike can offer. I don't have any fuel management system and its not notchy or anything. They make power low, and rev nicely. Almost as much low as the RC, the years of the gutless, you gotta rev me to get going 4's are gone.

Just look locally. I got on the websites of three local dealers around me and they all have some. Their starting at $7999 here though.
Well my buddy jumped on one here in AZ....best part is I get to pick it up and keep it at my place for a month or so.. ...and break it in !!!

awesome out the door price. I am a PA resident and bought in PA, so they did everything there for me with the tags and stuff. Out the door, under $7800. I got stuck in the rain most of the way home, so I didnt really get to "ride" it too much yet.
I love how light it feels. The smoothness of the throttle is awesome. The looks will take some getting used too, and im not sure if I like the snub exhausts.. undertail and sidepipes are what look "normal" to me, and the snub is.. well kinda ugly.

The bike is all dirty, I got stuck in the rain on the way home. Ill clean it up later today for more pix. I cant wait until I get my new house so I have more storage bays for autos and bikes!

it feels so much like the rc51, but lighter... easier to throw around. I had ZERO issues with the bike on my 120 mile ride home, in the rain at that. I DID order the honda upgraded seat because the dealer gave it to me for $200!!! *its a $300 seat*!! I also ride with a sargeant seat on the rc51.. best money spent for me so I can get some real seat time..
Ill tell you guys, honestly - I was thinking about picking up the VFR 800 there, it was only $6,000.. but it just didnt do it for me like the early 99+ kinda style (not sure what exact years, but the VERY last body style.. is OK, but i prefer the one before that).
IF I could have one more bike, it would be the vfr800 OR the new vfr1200, OR possibly a used blackbird 1100x
