what kind of work did you do to those forks? There's a lot of fork showing above the tripples.

What is the deal with the forks? At first I thought it was a 00-01 with the longer 02-06 forks but not so sure now.....You would think that would handle like a bag of @ss. Extreemly stiff springs???

The fork comments are EXACTLY why I posted the pic. I expected you all to ask whats up....

OK, so Ive read all about it, listened to LDH piss and moan about how much he knows, how everything he does it the best way, etc.. (not an intentional bash against him, by the way) how the whole country must do things just like Dan Kyle says or else its all wrong. The point of this thread, no? 200 rear tire? Different color bodywork? He he he....Well, onto the forks....It is a 2003 model, with the stock forks. My ride height is not lower than stock. I brought the bike to G.M.D. Computrack NorthEast and had them install a Matris rear shock and rebuild the front forks. New springs, and all internals. IT was then placed in their measurement and alignment machine and setup correctly. Believe me the bike is on fvckin rails. The part sticking out does suck cause I needed to shim the tank so the top of the forks wouldnt hit the fairing stay, but whatever... Its stable, and feels pretty awesome. Listen, I knew you all were gonna be like WTF!! but this setup works...

How is it even possible to get the stock ride hieght unless your springs are longer or stiffer than stock?

very interesting.

Did you have to lower the rear, and if so what shock length are you using?

How much trail did you gain or lose in comparison to stock?

Its close to factory height both front and rear, but to be honest I would like the tail higher, but where its at is what GMD Computrack calls 'the sweet numbers'

So you've told us it's on fvckin rails what kind of lap times are you doing? 10 seconds off the lap record? 15 seconds off the lap record? 20?

Oh let me guess your RC51 is "street only" and you're giving the rest of us advice on set-up...
