Default New Honda V4

Check out the link:

Honda V4 - Alive and Kicking

Its a new V4, with a comp to enter for a test ride, plus some downloads of other V4's.

Worth a look, but it isnt going to replace the RC51

Thanks....nice V4 heritage video inside. Too bad some of the lure of the prototype was lost in the final version....but I'm sure it's a nice bike.

It would be a great touring bike, IF, it had 170 horsepower.

doubt it will look anything like the concept but will be interesting to see the out come of it.

I'm still upset about the CB not going to be here in the states.. wouldn't give up the 51 for it but this thing is sweet looking..

Who really bothers keeping the stock exhaust on their bikes after it's registered and passes inspection?

Does HONDA have some master plan to drive people AWAY from motorcycles........??

Damn, and I thought Suzuki made some hideous bikes! That VFR my friends, is a whole other magnitude of FUGLY!!! I wouldn't have the thing if it were FREE.

Appearantly someone in upper management at HONDA forgot that half the reason to own a bike is too look at it. Seriously. A bike is a lot like a woman. If you don't lust after it, and it doesn't turn you on, it ain't worth having!

That new VFR is the Rea Pearlman of the bike world! I'm sure it'll get the job done, but it ain't nothing to look at........

I would be really interested to hear what Honda, back at the Legion of Doom headquarters, is thinking about people's comments.
So far there have been three reactions:
1)I cannot afford it/it's not my cup of tea but thanks for trying
2)I like the idea but I am waiting for the full blown tourer model, thank you
3)Toss that eyesore in a blast furnace right away!
Not even Larry, our resident V4 passionario, could be moved to be enthusiatic about it.
In short there's very little or no interest around this latest engineering tour de force. Honda put lots of hope in this bike, they badly need an image change ever since they stopped building HRC-designed specials like the RC30 and the VTR1000SP and dropped the sports car line completely. Yet people responded enthusiastically to the CB1100F retro bike and even more so to the CB1100R concept... come Honda is that so hard to figure out?

PS: I hereby declare that at cost of ruining my family life I would seriously considering buying the CB1100R if it will ever hit our shores!

Just goes to show you all YET Again... We do Not all see things the same way...

As far as the looks go, I think it looks pretty awesome and I even like the looks of the Exhaust...

My problem with this thing goes to:
#1 Weight, (Ditch the Shaft drive)
#2 Electronics.. (Too much BS going on) Ditch everything but EFI

Now, IF I was looking for a "Sport Touring MC" Shaft Drive.. would Not be a deal breaker, over ALL the "Electronic" (combo gizmos)>=... WTF

Just Give me a> Super light weight killer V-Four or V-Five Uber Sport Bike with EFI and that's it! 150-170 WRHP

NO ABS and NO Traction Control
