Default Finally joined...thanks raceghost

well i recently bought my first honda ever. its a 00 rc51. dont mistake it for an sp2 cause of the label. just came with that particular paint scheme.

anyways here are some pics and i look forward to meeting you all

i like it so far. one question though. i know how to ride very well. ive raced etc. but this is my first bike with a hydrolic clutch. what is the trick with launching with a hydrolic clutch. i cant seem to find the sweet spot cause it kicks in to fast

That screen is mother f'n tall! Is it a Gustafson? Also, what kind of tank is that?

i dont know what it is. but it definitely has to go for sure.

its a carbon fiber tank with a speed loader for racing

One of a kind that's for sure. Have you ever used a canyon dancer tie-down?

that fairing stay is quite fragile

ya the fairing stay is really weak. every time i do a wheelie it like bends down and hits the fork so i cant turn lol.

Nice RC51 and Welcome to the Forum,...

As far as your question about the "Clutch".... 1 of my top 5 mods. for sure, was the Thorsten CCC.!!

I'll NEVER Go back! Sheese.. I don't even need a slipper clutch with this thing... the lever is SO Light= easy to feather!

well first off i tied it to the tripple clamp...not the stay. and i will see if i can find out what kinda screen that is for ya... hell i might just trade you. i dont like it lol

nice wheelie! looks like QB carbon tank/fairing/fender.don't know if the screens from them.pro mach rearsets too.nice bike.
