+1 vote for the new logo, much cleaner!

BTW, Nice looking leathers! I'm in the market for a suit and have been looking at used sets, but a brand new 'custom' set would ROCK for a few hundred more!

Thats just it, buy custom leathers anywhere else and you would pay WAY more than what Dave charges. Plus my will be a race replica and those usually run a bit more.

Hey Guys, just an update.
We have an official Crash in one of my suits.

I spoke to a customer who got his suit back in Oct. He crashed in it on the track - I believe he said turn 12 at Loudon.
He was on his motard, doing about 80 when he lowsided. He said he slid about 30 yards, hit the wall, then slid another 20 yards the other direction.

The suit held together completely. The exposed threads on the butt were worn off, but the seams are triple stitched (with hidden stitching), so the seams did not let go. Besides bruises, he was fine.

He told me he was 100% happy with the suit, and he would not hesitate to order another.

He has promised to email me pics as well, so hopefully in the next couple days I'll have pics to post.

I've finally got crash pics!
Again, it was an 80mph lowside in the rain. 30 yards on pavement - crashed into a wall, then another 20 yards in the other direction.

Hey Guys, I've got more crash results:

One of my riders crashed 5 times in his Spartan suit this weekend.
1 highside, 4 lowides.
The suit still held together completely.

That makes 6 crashes on this suit.

He posted pics in my forum:

Here is the writeup provided by Jim of Jim's Leathers in the Chicago area.

"I have been in the leather industry for over 22 years now. Having extensive experience in all aspects of racing leathers, I was asked to take a look at some new leathers coming to market.

After thoroughly examining these leathers I can with all confidence say that they are made of top quality materials ... from the leather ,to the armor to the lining & threads. Not only are they made of good stuff, but they are designed for comfort & saftey.

I will recommend these suit to anyone looking for a top quality suit, best of all at the price they are asking it seems that most riders could buy 2. Having a back up suit in a pinch always helps.

What do you guys think of this?

Original:

New:

no offense but the current/old logo looks a bit outdated, like a circa 1985 joe rocket logo catch my drift? the new one looks way better, very fashion forward

Hey, just another update. . .
I've got a new product coming very soon. Here are some pics.
I'd also like to get your opinions.

Some features:
Analine Cowhide
Kevlar thread
Perforated between the fingers, and wrists
TPU knuckle and wrist guard
Grippy material on inside of index and thumb, as well as on pad below fingers.
2nd layer of leather in impact areas like sides of hand, palm, etc.

The things I want your opinion on:
1) The finger seams - internal or external? (notice the difference above)
2) Cowhide palms, or Kangaroo? (Kangaroo will be about $20 more)
3) Attached pinky & ring finger, or detached?
4) Stretch material on the thumb - Stretch leather, or stretch kevlar material as shown in the pics? Kevlar will protect better I think, but is less comfortable.

What do you think?

They arent actually for sale yet. . . Im still finalizing the design.
Im taking everybody's responses, and basically going w/ the most popular option.

They should be for sale soon.

interested in the gloves, can't do the suit yet.

1) The finger seams - internal or external? (notice the difference above)
I like external, less opportunity to create hot spots.
2) Cowhide palms, or Kangaroo? (Kangaroo will be about $20 more)
'Roo
3) Attached pinky & ring finger, or detached?
Attached, All you would have to do is look at how crooked my right hand's pinky is and there would be no argument.
4) Stretch material on the thumb - Stretch leather, or stretch kevlar material as shown in the pics? Kevlar will protect better I think, but is less comfortable.
Kevlar. I don't trust stretch leather.

I'll be looking for a suit later in the year, when things loosen up around here.
