I wonder if closing the Lounge has anything to do with it?

Use to come on here and find informitive post about handling, suspension, tires, problem solving, important mods, track handling issues, performance etc...... lately its paint, LEDs, undertails, popularity of the bike, how fast it is, carbon fiber
The only people benifiting is the venders (argueing about who has the best carbon like kids)and sales section for wrecked bike parts is up 10 fold. I use to love tight nit group and feel here, not so much anymore.

+1. I remember all of the stupid ?'s I asked a few years ago after joining this board. But I also remember all the people that took the time out of their day to teach me things I needed to know even though I am sure they thought I was the stupidest squid on the planet. But thanks to the old-timers that helped I have learned alot of things from the people on this board. And I am sure if you think hard enough there were times when you gained alot of info from this place as well. Now it is time to pass on what you have learned to fellow riders with less experience than you. Deal with the squids as you call them and take the time to help out where you can. It is always easy to forget where to started from, but never make the mistake of forgetting who helped you get where you are now.

Were you rolling your eyes at me or you?

The "beginner" type of RC questions seems to be very cyclical. It is spring after all and we are getting a bunch of new RC owners in the mix.

The more the merrier. Afterall, if no one was buying the used ones, then us long-timers would be bitching about the board being dead...

this is funny from a guy that hardly posts(but wants info) and most if not half of your threads are either F/S or WTB

it is not the vendors squiding the joint but all the newbs keeping any real useful posts and posters away

you used to be able to feel welcome here and feel help now we get 18 year olds yalking chit in every post cuase they got their first bike

All information is good information, just as long as you know how to filter.

I'm a new RC51 owner and just found this site. I think it's great. I'm still trying to read back 50 or 60 pages to extract the wealth of information found here. Thanks people.

I will contribute any and all worthwhile information I can come up with.

My RC is a 2001 with 6000 miles and is flawless except for small cracks around a fairing bolt.

Glad to meet you all, Lee

To me this board has ALWAYS been a place to go and see what other people are all about and if you get too wound-up about the place and what in your mind it should be ... or it used to be you'll miss out on what IT is.

Where to start ...

Duane, the fact remains. When you go to ANY other site and throw - up in your mouth instantaneously.

You'll realise this is the least squidliest.

P.S. great body position.

P.P.S. thank-you for serving

Ha Ha! I've been watching the banter as well... DHRider and I sometimes meet up at the same track... Anyone in H-Town area on for 11 April at TWS? Blue Class is the only class open.

I have been on the forum for a few years, and it seems like a few of the BACKBONE guys that were here when I got here left, but I still appreciate the kind of person who owns an RC vs X-literbike. It is more of a cult than any of the other models seems like.
