Ignoring the rest of the bike for a minute. Maybe the're trying to make money for aftermarket exhaust manufacturers. Because that exhaust pipe is HIDEOUS.

you know, if you stop and get over the original shock it may look kinda cool once you start getting it modded a little.

1. take away that gay rear fender
2. diferent exhaust ( A MUST )
3. solo seat cowl

... I don't know it may be a not bad looking bike. definately goin to have to see it in person. the front is actually kinda RC51 shaped. This thing better be light as hell with some killer power though, cuz otherwise it ain't goin to sell at ALL.

lets see.... they are going with a R6 tail end, ugly ass gixxer 600/750 style pipe, and of course the fugly gixxer 1000 nose, and of course the lovely kawi 650 side fairings.

Pics have been pulled from hondas media site. (theres still a bunch up at 1000rr.net currently)

Now let the rampant speculation as to why they were pulled begin.

Well... You don't pull pics when they're hits and they give you great publicity.

Edit: WOW... talking about *awking up a good thing.^^^^ That is just plain nasty! Hideous even!
The guy that designed that has gotta be fired, not mention the next guy that approved it for mass development.

This has got to be wrong and what's the deal with that rear hugger?

If it is accurate then at least there has to be a new motor judging by the casing.

American Honda Releases 2008 Model Lineup – New CBR1000RR! @ CBR 1000RR

There's talk of it being as light as a 600SS, so if the numbers are good it may be worth it. Its just kinda fugly, looks like a pug.

Actually the RC212V is ugly too.
