Default Had myself a nice high-side

Well the title says it all I had a nice little high side at Jennings Sunday. I went into the 3,4,5,6 combo too hot and stood it up in 6 to run it off the track. The thing that sucked was that the grass was still wet from the night before. I couldnt turn too sharply because the bike would have just squirted out from under me on the wet grass. I was getting closer and closer to the tree line and finally had to kick the bike over in a last ditch effort to get it to turn and she started to slide out from under me. Then the rear tire caught and pitched me off. I wound up sliding about 15 feet into the woods with the bike right behind me. I was fine except for a few bruises and a little soreness but the bike didnt get off quite so lucky. I wound up getting the bike sorted out and riding the rest of the day and Monday. I figured I would post up and see if anyone had some of these parts laying around I could buy off of them to get my ride back in shape.

1. Snorkle (the part that bolts into the frame)
2. Right side Radiator (mine is tweeked but holding water)
3. Fairing stay that goes with the Ohlins steering damper
4. Right midpipe for Sato Banzai
5. Mounting thingie for the right side Banzai

Thanks guys,

Len

Thumbs up Rightside Rad

Got one for an SP2 2005. PM me and I will give you the details. MFurick made me a set of front rads which are out for anodizing right now. I thought I was pretty good with the TIG but his welds made me cry.
Glad you are OK. I'm still recovering from shoulder surgery and a broken leg.

Damn Stu. Glad to know you are ok. Now you know if I would have been at the track with you none of this would have happened. You will have to give me a call and let me know how you are doing.

Ouch, I had a close call similar to that at Fontana. I'm glad to hear you walked away from that. From your parts descriptions it doesn't seem like the bike got beat too bad.

Naa didnt get beat up too bad...kind of trashed the stock plastic but the grass and dirt was pretty forgiving to the hard parts.

As far as the mounting thingie I am looking for the bracket that bolts to the subframe and the strap..mine got tweeked a bit.

I have a snorkle on the way thx for the help guys.
