Default How much would this be worth....

Honda SP1 HRC Road/Race Bike
  • Full HRC Kit Tony Scott Motor, including:
  • HRC Kit Pistons
  • Valves
  • Con Rods
  • Kit Cams (depending what circuit)
  • Reprofiled Cams (Short circuit)
  • Duhamel Airbox
  • BMC Filters
  • Power Commander
  • Lightened Crank
  • Kit Clutch
  • Tony Scott reworked cylinder heads (one off pair)
  • Akrapovic Evolution WSB Exhaust System using titanium silencers for strength and carbon brackets.
  • Factory Spec Swingarm and linkages
  • Factory Spec Ohlins rear shock
  • Harris rear silencer hangers
  • Harris rear sets, fully adjustable
  • Harris one off steering damper mounting brackets
  • Ohlins Steering Damper
  • New breaking wavey rear disk (not shown in pictures)
  • 20 litre fuel tank with kit breather and quick release filler cap
  • Ohlins forks R+T (just been rebuilt)
  • Harris Trimple Clamp adjustable yokes
  • PFM 6 pot calipers and new 7mm thick discs
  • Harris clip ons
  • AP rear caliper (with Harris caliper carrier)
  • Spare wheels with PFM discs as new and fitted with wets
  • Spare Sprockets
  • Spare tyre skins
This bike was built into a very high spec from new by myself, plus all the companies along the way, i.e Tony Scott, Harris Brothers, PDQ(Nick) for all fuel injection work, producing 156 bhp @ rear wheel, but can easily be raised by fitting a different rev limiter. This bike has been used at international level in the European Superbikes until early 2006, it was used at the Northwest in 2003 by Nigel Cap Davies and through the speed trap matched the exact speed of the SP2 ex Colin Edwards 2002 WSB winning bike ridden by Steve Plater, thanks to Tony Scott and PDQ, and ofcourse the rider. The bike would be ideal to run in the sound of thunder or any open championship, it is also road registered. I have the original body kit and the lights. The bike has covered a total of 8000 miles, but half of this is in race use. This is ready to run a full 2007 season, no matter what you use it for.

me too! I call bs until I see pics and a detailed build walk through( not really bs but i just want to see pics ).
I would also say that a bike like that should fetch 35K+ but then again it depends on who is serious and how desperate the seller is to get rid of it.
Ebay will award you with 18K max.

Not looking to sell..... looking to buy!

I'll sort some pics out tomorrow. All the details are there though, looking at £6000 or about $12000. the exhaust has got to be a small fortune! At the min its running a std airbox/ecu and its still putting out 146bhp at the wheel. it runs 156bhp at the wheel with the race airbox/ecu that comes with it. Tony scott is an absolute tuning god. the heads had 100 hours put into them. swingarm isnt just a normal sp2 one either its the factory/kit one.

Its tuned for reliability, could make more bhp but there's no real point

For run-of-the-mill bikes I agree that fall is the worst. But for collectible bikes, anytime is a good time.

The pics for this bike are here (halfway down the page, bike is blue) --> Nice track RC (Uk guys)

I tracked it down. It has been pulled from the ebay auction here --> Honda SP1 HRC Road/Race/Track Bike on eBay, Honda, Motorcycles Scooters, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 300076740109 end time 07-Feb-07 20:06:41 GMT)

I think this is a repost for this bike. Very nice bike. Very gorgous, and it has that exhaust that Varium or HardCharger wants.

Just what is it that can get an extra 20 BHP out of one of these bikes...
