I set out for a nice ride this morning with some perfect weather and scenery. I stared up Rt. 206 North and ended up in Walpack, northern NJ.
This ride starts off with a great breakfast at the Five Star Diner on Rt. 206:
The pale green and yellow colors inside the diner SCREAM retro:
But the buttermilk pancakes and sausage are fresh and delicious:
Riding north from there are signs of the fun ahead:
And you have to appreciate a public road with banked turns:
Along the road of life don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers (or at least take some pics of them):
Being that the RC51 is a horrible dual sport I avoid closed roads:
I look forward to doing this ride again in the fall and hitting more side roads. Today’s ride was cut a bit short so I could make it home in time to watch Pedro’s come back start…

Those "flap jacks" look good!!!! Where is the pic with them and the bike?!?!?!
In the 1st season of Alton Brown’s show “Feasting on Asphalt” he devised a contraption to slow cook a stew on the header of his BWM while he was riding. I keep saying I’m going to look into that for the RC! The one trick would be to make sure it’s sealed. Don’t need rich exhaust seasoning the meal!

I know I would have gotten $hit if I didn't include pics of food!

Was eyeing the labor day ride post but since I went out Sunday for day long
jaunt into Ma. Berkshires area I couldn't sell the Misses on the idea of going out Monday. Your pictures came out good.
Anytime you folks want to Ride 301 give me a holler, i'm about
30 minutes out. There's also a route known as the Duck run that takes you through Putnam county and into Litchfield county CT that is worthwhile.
Don't have the RC51 anymore, but anybody on Speedzilla with the old bike
has to be good in my book.
I got the Camera last year, a Sony DSC-T30. I'm sure they have come out with an updated model but it's a great small camera. And it also takes great video.

"Exercise restraint and discipline, only responding to posts from legit customers and those with constructive positive intent, you will find that the handgrenades explode harmlessly. You have many satisfied customers who are happy to have the parts you've made. My suggestion to you is keep making good parts, keep getting more customers, take care of them and let them speak for you."
