I crashed today on SP Main, second session, second lap. I called myself chillin too.
I was practicing taking the outside on turn 6. I do it a lot anyway, but just decided to practice it some more, and look through further..Well, the black asphalt, didn't like what I was doing, and spit me into a lowside, and then a highside.. Bike and I both went airborne.
I was getting ready for the race weekend coming up.
Well, so much for that. Will try to get it back together a soon as possibe.

Sorry to hear about the crash. It sounds a lot like what happened to me Memorial Day weekend - lowside which turned into a highside. My 30 year old body took a better part of 2 weeks to heal up, I can't imagine doing that @ 65+!!!!
Sorry to hear you went down buddy. That just means it's time to put it all back together and do it all over again though right? I hope you get the bike back together quick.

You are just too fast for that track Coleman. Its time to go try VIR finally.
Are you talking about the really dark tar patches on the outside of 6? That stuff freaks me out late in the summer when it looks all wet b/c it is so hot out.
Good to see your up and posting CEH. I know it won't be long before your out there again. You got some balls because there is all kinds of loose rubber out there off the race line.

Yeah, I was lucky. The bike and I lowsided, then highsided, then bike and I went airborne, then we both hit the deck again. I got up, staggered, and then got down and squeezed off 10 quick pushups. The pushups are my way checking out my body and its parts. Everything checked okay.
I got a swollen left hand, and dirt in my eye..
Right now the bike is in the trailer will be at the shop in about an hour. I am telling my boss I am taking half day off.
Life can be rough at times, but it's all good...

I am hoping for a 2 week turnaround. And that is with the bike looking better than before, if that is possible!!.
No balls, stupidity!! All I had to do was stay on the concrete, I wasn't racing, I wasn't even passing, I was just going through the motions!!
I am realizing how lucky I really am, all the way around.
Bruce got bumped to A.. I wonder where I would have been at yesterday, A+

Jeez, Coleman! It was good seeing you up at Jefferson Circuit on Sunday.
Sorry about your get-off. That part of Main gets really gritty and loose, has been that way for a couple of seasons. Take care of yourself!

I am glad you are ok though.
Yup, that's what bit my azz!!
I am okay, chillin with a swollen hand, and red eye from dirt..
Oh, I passed on the gym this morning too..

Sorry to hear about your getoff, glad you're ok tho!
Im getting less and less interested in going back to that place esp. since it is a 5 hr drive for me and only 2 more hrs will get me to a whole lot better of a track with phenomenal traction.......unlike that Slippery Point place.
My last visit there about 2 yrs ago got me a broken right scapula in what had to be one of the slowest falls of my life.....
