Default torque for the steering nut

i just bought a dampner for my bike and was wondering what the torque amount was for the nut. I have a 05 rc51

Check with the instructions for the damper that you bought. Stock nut is 101 ft/lbs.

Some dampers require less....

Try the 90 used for the sp-1. I haven't had any problems.
